NEW YORK (AFX) -- Shares of Gateway Inc. fell 6.5% to $2.75 in afternoon action on Tuesday. The move comes after fellow personal computer maker Hewlett-Packard gave a revenue forecast for 2006 that could potentially fall below Wall Street's current expectations. In addition, a national class action lawsuit was filed against the company in California District Court by a group of consumers alleging Gateway sold defective plasma televisions.
