VILNIUS (AFX) - Sanitas AB, Lithuania's largest pharmaceutical producer, has not ruled out a listing on the Warsaw stock exchange following its acquisition of a further 84.5 pct stake in Poland's Jelfa for around 135 mln eur, the BNS newswire reported.
The acquisition will raise Sanitas' holding in Jelfa to over 94 pct.
'It is possible that Jelfa's shares will remain listed, but we do not rule out delisting them from the Warsaw bourse and instead offer Sanitas' shares, which, at the same time, would be quoted on the Vilnius stock exchange,' Sanitas CEO Saulius Jurgelenas said in a statement. newsdesk@afxnews.com hjp/ak COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2005.
