MILAN (AFX) - The Italian police arrested 20 people yesterday, including one ex-Telecom Italia SpA manager, accused of criminal association in connection with a probe into illegal wire-tapping, daily Corriere della Sera and other newspapers reported.
The former manager is Giuliano Tavaroli, who was responsible for security, they said, adding that the police also arrested Pierguido Iezzi, current security chief of Pirelli & C SpA, the company which controls Telecom Italia.
