Tamedia, Editpress to launch daily newspaper in Luxembourg by year-end

ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - Tamedia AG and Luxembourg-based Editpress say they will jointly launch a daily newspaper in the Grand Duchy by the end of the year.

The publication will be named LEssentiel and will aim to attract a young, urban readership with high spending power.

Editpress and Tamedia each hold a 50 pct interest in Edita SA, the newly-founded publishing company, the groups said.
