The premier Halloween Party, the highly anticipated annual Halloween Sundowner fundraiser benefiting Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is set to provide more entertainment this year than ever before. This ticketed event is open to the general public 21 and over. It is hosted by the Vizcayans and celebrating its 21st year in existence at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens at 3251 South Miami Avenue from 8 p.m. until midnight.
"We take pride in being the premier Halloween event in Miami, with guests coming from as far as Western Europe, flying in to celebrate with us, help raise money for the museum and gardens, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery we offer, both structurally and socially. So many of the thousands who attend put incredible effort into creating some of the most original costumes you'll ever see"¦just sitting around staring at the guests provides enough entertainment for the night," added Karl Klein, event chair.
While typically a bit spooky at night, the entire facility will be transformed into a veritable Haunted House, but one filled with Playboy Bunnies, Super Heroes, and possibly a Spartan or two. There will be free alcohol, live music, a costume competition, and tours through the haunted gardens. The resident ghosts are allowed to enjoy this annual event free of charge.
