Wim Derksen has been appointed Vice President Global Sales and Service at Integrated Dynamics Engineering (IDE). IDE is a leading worldwide developer and manufacturer of vibration isolation, EMI cancellation, robotics and material handling systems for semiconductor manufacturing, lithography, metrology, medical and research applications, with special focus on OEMs.
Prior to joining IDE, Wim Derksen was Vice President for Business Development at Recif Inc., silicon wafer handling and robotics specialists. His experience also includes executive positions at Anicon-Silicon Valley Group; at software developer Insystems; and at the scientific and technical data resource ISI.
A native of Holland, Wim Derksen holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Amsterdam. He will be based with IDE in the United States. He will also operate out of IDE's extensive development and manufacturing European headquarters in Raunheim, Germany, and at IDE's newly opened office in Tokyo, Japan.
