Mike Maxwell, Senior VP, Sales, Marketing and Business Development
Mike Maxwell brings more than 17 years of senior sales and marketing leadership to DirectPointe. His sales management career includes successfully leading teams selling enterprise software, hardware, managed services and intellectual property. Prior to DirectPointe, Maxwell spent four years at Symantec Corp., where he managed direct national sales organizations serving commercial and public-sector customers. Maxwell arrived at Symantec through its acquisition of PowerQuest Corp., where he had developed and managed its OEM, direct sales, business development and channel organizations. Maxwell holds an MBA from the University of Utah.
Justin M. Beck, VP, Marketing
Justin Beck focuses on product development and weaving it into marketing models that work. Prior to DirectPointe, Justin was co-founder and CEO of Sweet Spot Solutions, which was acquired by DirectPointe in 2007. At Sweet Spot, Beck brought the technology from concept to a marketable product and is listed as an inventor on several patents. Beck helped Sweet Spot achieve global exposure on every continent through marketing and public relations. Beck worked five years with Sprint generating multi-million-dollar contracts with Fortune 500 clients and five years with Eclipse Marketing Inc., where he helped the company make the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies two years in a row. Beck earned an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a BA from Brigham Young University.
Chad L. Swensen, VP, Business Development
Chad Swensen is responsible for implementing and developing DirectPointe's business development strategies. He joined DirectPointe's business development team through the Sweet Spot Solutions acquisition. He has spent the last 13 years in the telecommunications industry in global and senior management roles driving revenue objectives and technologies for Nextlink, WorldCom and Integra Telecom. Most recently Swensen was president and co-founder of Sweet Spot Solutions, an innovative software technology firm that developed security software for flash memory devices. He was instrumental in the capitalization of the company and helped co-invent and develop its product offering. He has created strategic alliances with many Fortune 500 companies, including SanDisk and Cisco Systems. Early in his career he was a part of the initial team that built Texas start-up Venturi Technologies, which went public on the NASDAQ. He is a certified Microsoft system engineer and holds a U.S. patent.
Curtis B. Blair, VP, Channel and Partner Alliances
Curtis Blair now serves as the vice president of channel and partner alliances, having joined DirectPointe in 2006. He is responsible for the tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for DirectPointe and its products through the use of channel development, online marketing, product management and strategic relationships. Prior to joining DirectPointe, Blair served as the general manager of Eggnesters, a leader in channel and lead generation activities for companies such as LowerMyBills.com and BankRate.com. Prior to that, Blair was the director of marketing at FILA Golf, a division of FILA Sport S.p.A., and as the director of sales and marketing at Xavier Direct, a direct marketing firm that marketed investment training seminars for Investools and CNBC Online Investor Education.
