WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, announced today that Robert A. Gunther has been named Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective immediately. Reporting directly to the Company's Chairman and CEO, Quentin T. Kelly, Mr. Gunther's responsibilities in the newly created position will include providing advice and counsel to WorldWater on all legal matters and coordinating legal activities with outside SEC counsel, other outside counsel and regulatory agencies. He will work from the company's new international headquarters in Ewing, New Jersey.

"His experience in banking, construction and licensing activities will enable us to process contracts more rapidly.
Prior to joining WorldWater, Mr. Gunther served as Vice President & General Counsel of Keating Building Corp., a construction management firm based in Philadelphia. Before Keating he held senior legal positions at PeopleSoft USA, Vertis, Inc. and Summit Bancorp. He began his legal career in private practice as an Associate at the firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. Mr. Gunther is a graduate of Colgate University and Rutgers Law School, and is admitted to the Bars of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
