MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Vocento SA's board has accepted the resignation of CEO Belarmino Garcia Fernandez and has given the post to Jose Manuel Vargas Gomez, the media group said in a statement.
Belarmino Garcia Fernandez, formerly head of France Telecom's Orange in Spain, took the position as the group's CEO in April of last year.
Jose Manuel Vargas Gomez was Vocento's general manager for the national market and, before that, its CFO.
