LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Jet engine maker Rolls Royce Group Plc said Thai Airways International had ordered the Trent 900 to power its new fleet of six Airbus A380 super-jumbos in a deal valued at $500 million at engine list prices.
The aircraft are due to be delivered from late 2010 onwards and the engines will be backed by a long-term Rolls Royce maintenance and services agreement, based on an agreed dollar fee per engine flying hour. philip.waller@thomsonreuters.com paw/am COPYRIGHT Copyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2008.
