* Announces option agreement with ls-nikko to invest in cobre Panama project
* Says ls-nikko has the right to acquire a 20 percent interest in the cobre
Panama copper project in Panama
* Says ls-nikko and Inmet will fund their respective proportionate shares of
mpsa's development costs to a maximum of US$150 million
* Says Inmet will fund mpsa's development costs in excess of US$150 million
