SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading business process services company and a Fortune 500 company announced today that Mike Vaishnav has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller.
Mr. Vaishnav is responsible for managing worldwide accounting, reporting and tax functions, as well as maintaining the integrity of the financial accounting function and financial statements. Mr. Vaishnav is also responsible for implementing best practices in worldwide accounting and the continuous improvement of SYNNEX financial and accounting processes. He provides financial support to the SYNNEX executive management team in various business matters including mergers and acquisitions, financial accounting systems and complex business transactions.
Mr. Vaishnav joined SYNNEX in 2005 as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller and has over 20 years of experience within the accounting and finance field. Prior to SYNNEX, he most recently served at eBay, Inc. as the Senior Director of Financial Integration of M&A activities. Prior to that position, he was the Worldwide Operations Controller at eBay, where he was responsible for the worldwide accounting, collections, financial systems and procurement. He has also held various financial and accounting positions within other Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Vaishnav is a Certified Public Accountant in California. He holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Business Administration and Accounting, a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Auditing, as well as a Diploma of Taxation from the M.S. University in India.
