NJVC, one of the largest information technology solutions providers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), hired Terry Grimm as vice president, business management. Grimm previously was in charge of similar responsibilities as a subcontractor to NJVC with Chenega Technology Services Corporation (CTSC).
"NJVC is thrilled to officially bring Terry Grimm on board as a member of the NJVC team," said Jill Bruning, NJVC chief operating officer. "Terry brings more than 27 years of solid management experience in both the public and private sectors, and is very well regarded for his work by the federal government contracting community. For the past several years, Terry performed exceedingly well overseeing business management as a subcontractor, and I am confident that his high level of performance will continue as a full-time NJVC employee to the benefit of the company and its customers."
As vice president, business management, Grimm provides coordination and oversight of program budgets to ensure optimal performance of contracts. He oversees extensive coordination with all NJVC internal departments and mission elements to support government actions ranging from budget, staffing, contracts and subcontracts, security, and special support—all of which vary in terms of complexity, mission criticality and time sensitivity.
Earlier, Grimm was general manager of a $50-million contract with a high-profile government customer, responsible for the maintenance and relocation of technical equipment for a 24/7 emergency equipment repair operations center. He also was director of contracts with CTSC and a DoD contracting officer. Grimm served with distinction as a U.S. Army officer and is a cum laude graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, W.V., with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
