LISBON, March 15 (Reuters) - Portuguese builder Mota-Engil reported on Monday a 135 percent jump in 2009 net profit to 71.7 million euros, falling short of expectations.
Revenues rose 14 percent to 2.131 billion euros and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) slipped 2.2 percent to 304 million euros.
Analysts polled by reuters had forecast net profit of 80 million euros, revenues of 2.137 billion euros and EBITDA of 309 million euros.
