Rayovac to Conduct Donation Drive at Six Flags Parks
Rayovac and Six Flags are teaming up to collect batteries for The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services work. Starting May 22 and continuing through May 30, you will be able to donate a pack of Rayovac batteries at the ticket booth of any participating Six Flags park and in return receive a day's entry at kids' price. With the Spring of 2011 being one of the worst storm seasons in recent history, Rayovac and Six Flags are working together to offer more fun for your money while simultaneously helping a worthy cause.
"Rayovac is committed to recognizing and supporting efforts that help others. We hope that this donation eases at least some of the deep suffering of all those affected," said David Carlson, Director of Marketing Communications for Rayovac. "The enthusiasm of The Salvation Army and Six Flags has been overwhelming. This is truly a community-wide effort – we hope each and every donation makes a real difference."
Storm Preparation Battery Drive:
During the week of May 22 through May 30, you can help The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services work by donating Rayovac batteries at Six Flags parks. Get one general admission to Six Flags for the price of a child/junior daily admission when you donate a pack of Rayovac batteries at the ticket booth of any participating Six Flags park.
Rayovac alkaline battery packs can be purchased from any retail location. Battery packs must be new, unopened and unused. No coupon or receipt is necessary—everyone who brings in a pack of Rayovac batteries will receive kids' price entry to the park. Kids' price offer cannot be combined with any other discount offer or applied toward the purchase of other ticket options, including a season pass (not valid at Six Flags Wild Safari, water parks, Six Flags Magic Mountain, or on 3-Park Combo Tickets). Please visit sixflags.com for a list of Six Flags parks, operating schedules and to purchase additional tickets.
The battery packs will be collected by the ticketing agents. At the end of the donation drive, the batteries will be donated to local chapters of The Salvation Army and will be used to aid in disaster preparedness and response efforts.
