WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (KRA) reported first-quarter net income of $16 million or $0.50 per share, compared to $22 million or $0.68 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Revenues for the quarter increased 18% to $408.31 million from $344.83 million a year earlier.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.65 per share on revenue of $370.05 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
