Parents Can Now Register to Attend the Free Virtual Summer Camp Fair Taking Place on May 23rd
For parents, finding the right summer camp for their children can be time-consuming and quite a challenge. Summer Camp Liveannounced today that its Summer Camp Fair, a virtual preview of camps of all types in all locations, will make that search simpler and more cost-effective. The first virtual camp fair will make its debut on May 23 and is free for parents.
Now, family members can enjoy all of the advantages of a physical camp fair without needing to travel. The site provides a complete virtual tour of each camp that will be the next best thing to actually visiting. Parents and kids will not only be able to see videos of camp facilities and activities but conduct real-time video chats with camp staff members and other attendees from the comfort of their own computers and tablets. Each camp will also offer downloadable documents.
To register for the first virtual camp fair on May 23, parents may visit the Registration Page.
Participants who register and participate in the Live event will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad.
The virtual camp experience will be available year round, 24 hours a day. Upcoming live fairs will take place again in late September and in mid-November. In 2013, live fairs are planned for January, February and March.
The site's "theater" will list and launch on-demand presentations available and include a group chat area. In the virtual "lounge", attendees can network with each other and chat about the event's content, theme and sessions.
"We recognize that camps enable a critical continuum of care for youngsters. We want to facilitate the process of finding the right camp for our children and it is our intention to make this platform convenient and interactive for all who wish to use it," said Vicky di Coronado-Mels, founder of Summer Camp Live.
Camps can also learn more and reserve a spot in an upcoming virtual camp fair by contacting info@summercamplive.com or call 305-793-8627.
