Philip Antoon and Gary Frantzen Join Firm as Managing Directors
Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal has added managing directors Philip Antoon and Gary Frantzen in New York and Chicago, respectively, to its rapidly growing Valuation Services practice.
"Phil and Gary both have established careers providing a full suite of valuation services, and also bring specialist knowledge; in healthcare for Gary and intellectual property and tax valuation for Phil," said John O'Neill, managing director and national practice leader of Alvarez & Marsal's Valuation Services business. Mr. Antoon has more than 20 years of experience valuing companies and assets across a wide range of industries throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. More recently, he has concentrated on all aspects of valuation for domestic and international tax purposes and valuation of and monetization strategies for intellectual property. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Antoon was a member of the Valuation Practice of PwC and previously was the Global Practice Leader of Kroll's Valuation Services Practice.
Similarly, Mr. Frantzen brings more than 25 years of broad valuation experience and specializes in providing opinions of value, fairness and solvency for a wide range of business purposes including mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning; particularly in the healthcare, materials and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining A&M, he managed the Chicago office and served as the national chair of the Healthcare Industry practice at American Appraisal Associates Inc. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP where he served as co-leader of the Strategic Valuation Services Group in Chicago and leader of the Financial Valuation Practice for Andersen's central region.
