The Box S.r.l. that is co-owned by Olympic Entertainment Group acquired on
Wednesday, October 24, a local Italian gaming operator Jackpot Game S.r.l.
which owns two slot casinos in Milan.
The casinos acquired by The Box S.r.l. operate under the Slottery brand and
have 55 and 47 slot machines, respectively, being similar in size by slot
casinos that OEG operates in other markets.
The Box S.r.l. is a joint venture that was set up at the start of August by Olympic EG and GHolding, Italian operator of small casinos. OEG has plans to invest EUR 4.5 million in the new joint venture and open at least three slot casinos in Italy by the end of 2013.
