HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - Thailand is on Monday scheduled to release gross domestic product figures for the third quarter of 2012, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. GDP was up 3.3 percent on quarter and 4.2 percent on year in Q2.
Hong Kong will release unemployment data for October, with forecasts predicting no change from the 3.3 percent rate in September.
Japan will see the final results of its leading and coincident indexes for September, with little change from the preliminary readings that suggested scores of 91.7 and 91.2, respectively. Also, the Bank of Japan will begin its two-day monetary policy meeting and then announce its decision on interest rates on Tuesday.
