Decor Grates, a floor register design and production company based out of Markham, Ontario is donating luxury floor grates to furnish the grand prize of this year's Princess Margaret Home Lottery, a $3.77 million, 8000 square foot home located in Vaughan, Ontario.
The proceeds of the lottery, which offers contest participants a chance to win prizes ranging from luxury cars to homes, cash prizes and electronics, will be donated towards the development of cancer research.
This is the fifth year Decor Grates has been involved with the charity. CEO and co-owner of Decor Grates, Ralph Oosterhuis says he's happy to be involved.
"We're glad to contribute to such a worthy cause, which helps ordinary people fight extra-ordinary illnesses," said Oosterhuis.
Decor Grates has introduced a social media campaign to bring further awareness to the cause. A social media contest, to run on Decor Grates' Facebook and Twitter platforms, will award a lucky winner with a free ticket for the lottery.
Contestants can enter by liking Decor Grates' Facebook page and submitting a photo of themselves with their favourite Decor Grates design and a sentence about why it's their favourite to contest@decorgrates.com.
