| Description | The Board of Directors of Metro Holdings Limited ("Metro" or the "Company") wishes to announce that the Company has set up the following wholly-owned subsidiaries: a. Metro Development Holdings (S) Pte Ltd ("Metro Development"); and b. Metro Prop Singapore Pte Ltd ("Metro Prop Singapore") Metro Development is wholly-owned by the Company. Metro Prop Singapore is held by Metro Development. The business activities of Metro Development and Metro Prop Singapore are that of investment holding. Both Companies have been incorporated with an issued and paid-up capital of S$2 each. The setting up of Metro Development and Metro Prop Singapore is not expected to have any significant effect on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and consolidated earnings per share of the Metro Group for the current financial year ending 31 March 2014. None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above matter other than through their shareholding interests in the Company.
