LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Centamin plc. (CEY.L, CELTF.PK, CEE.TO), in a preliminary report for the second quarter, said that total gold production from its Sukari Gold Mine in Egypt was 93,624 ounces, a 39 percent increase from 67,422 ounces in the same quarter last year.
The company said the formal guidance for the current year was provided on 14 March 2013 and remains at 320,000 ounces gold at a cash operating cost of US$700 per ounce.
Quarterly throughput at the Sukari process plant was 1,418kt, a 12% increase on the prior year period.
