The Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) recently
appointed Jeff Thorness, President and CEO of ACH Direct, to the
Strategic Leadership and Networking Forum Program Planning Committee.
ETA is an international trade association serving the needs of
organizations offering transaction processing products and services.
This committee is comprised of industry leaders who guide development
of program content, networking activities and the overall event
experience for ETA's exclusive executive conference.
"Through its credible voice and leadership, ETA is at the forefront in shaping the future of the payments industry," Thorness said. "It is a privilege to be selected to serve on ETA's Strategic Leadership and Networking Forum Program Planning Committee. I look forward to continuing ACH Direct's rich tradition of contributing to the electronic payments industry as a member of this important committee."
Deborah Matthews, AAP, ACH Direct's Vice President of Marketing, was also appointed to ETA's Membership committee. Matthews also serves on NACHA's Internet Council Steering Committee and is a member of the Electronic Check Council. Earlier this year, Matthews was appointed to the Marketing Management Group, which is responsible for guiding the national marketing and public relations activities for the ACH industry.
ETA has more than 550 member companies from seven different countries. ETA's stated mission is to fully serve its members and advance their profession by providing leadership through education, advocacy and the exchange of information. For more information, visit: www.electran.org.
