This summer Knott's Berry Farm will be riding into town with a new coaster, original new stage production, and unparalleled entertainment for the entire family.
Named after the famous Pony Express which promised a faster mail service on the North American continent, Knott's Pony Express coaster promises a horseback relay at speeds never imagined in the Old West!
While sitting astride one of the team's 16 horses, riders leave their post with their steed launching them at a speed of 0-38 mph in less than 3 seconds. The terrain for the mounted riders is rugged as they navigate an ascending banked turn to a height of over 44 ft. then through a series of heart-pounding 60 degree banked turns, camel backs and tight maneuvers. The team covers a 1,300-foot route which takes them past Boot Hill and Big Foot Rapids resulting in an exhilarating runaway adventure!
Over at the Charles M. Schulz Theatre, Knott's Berry Farm is proud to present "Snoopy's Big Bow Wow" (dark Wednesdays) an exciting ice show debuting June 14th. In this musical extravaganza Snoopy takes center stage along with world-class ice skaters in a show that will delight the entire family. Catchy tunes, elaborate costumes, special effects and show-stopping choreography make this production a not-to-miss experience.
For the younger set, "Camp Snoopy Days" finds the Peanuts gang singing and dancing at the Camp Snoopy Theatre. Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Sally are here all summer long bringing the most beloved comic strip characters to life with familiar tunes and audience participation.
Get your thrills at the "All Wheels Extreme"show at the Calico Square which starts June 21st (dark Monday/Tuesday). BMX bikers, skateboarders and acrobats perform in a gravity-defying, extreme sports spectacular. At twilight the Calico Square Stage becomes the place to learn the latest dances such as the "Boot Scootin' Boogie" with Knott's line dancing aficionados, J.T. and Dusty.
