As a seasoned quality specialist with 18 years of experience, she will be responsible for managing the quality systems for all of Millstone Medical's facilities, directing all quality associates, and working closely with customers to ensure the highest quality standards. Before joining Millstone in April, Ms. Hughes was Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Olympus Biotech Corporation. She also served in senior quality management positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Amgen, Dow Biopharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Services, and Copley Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Ms. Hughes began her career in quality assurance at Springborn Laboratories, Inc. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in the establishment and management of quality assurance programs, validations, training, internal auditing, regulatory compliance, and documentation and reporting protocols.
