Tustin City Council Member and former Mayor, Jerry Amante, Joins FSB Core Strategies' Orange County Office
IRVINE, Calif., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- FSB Core Strategies, a full service public affairs, public relations, and political consulting firm with offices in Sacramento and Orange County, is excited to announce the addition of a new senior member to its team. Tustin City Council Member and former Mayor, Jerry Amante, joins the firm as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Deputy Managing Director in the Orange County office. His role at the firm includes managing Southern California client accounts, developing new business in the Irvine office, and facilitating Orange County clients with Sacramento needs to know FSB's capabilities in and around the State Capitol.
Mr. Amante brings a wide range of talent and many years of experience to FSB. He has served on the Tustin City Council since 2004, and served three terms as Mayor and two terms as Mayor Pro Tem in his eight years on the Council. He will retire as a Council Member at the end of this year, having served the maximum two, four-year terms. Council Member Amante is widely regarded as one of the most popular and effective elected officials in Orange County. In addition to his service on the Council, Mr. Amante is a practicing lawyer with a successful law practice, and will serve as General Counsel to FSB Core Strategies.

Council Member Amante brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts in transportation, land use, regional planning, water, and much more. He is the former Chairman of the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and currently serves on a number of its committees. He is the past President and member of the Executive Committee of the Association of California Cities-Orange County. He also serves as a member of the Southern California Association of Governments Regional Council.

Jerry has a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.
