The Task Force, established by Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5882 of the Washington 63rd Legislature, 2013 2nd Special Session, was formed to advise the Legislative Auditor regarding appropriate data and metrics that should be included in the tax preference performance statements to evaluate new, extended, or expanded tax preferences. Task Force members include the Legislative Auditor, an economist with extensive state tax experience, and representatives from the Department of Revenue, Association of Washington Business, and Office of Financial Management.
