NEW YORK (AP) - First Data Corp., which provides credit card processing services, said Monday it received a contract from WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The contract calls for First Data International to provide WestJet with processing services, including Visa and MasterCard.
Peter Harrington, president of the Latin American and Canadian operations at First Data International, called the contract 'a significant and strategic win' for the company in Canada.
Shares of Greenwood Village, Colo.-based First Data rose a penny to $32.58 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
