Conference Will Examine “Major Players in Emerging Markets”
The 8th Annual Darden International Finance Conference on “Major Players in Emerging Markets” will take place in Singapore on May 8, 2009. The conference, jointly presented by the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, the Saw Centre for Financial Studies at NUS Business School at the National University of Singapore, and State Street Global Markets, along with other partners, will explore current issues and ongoing challenges faced by businesses and policymakers in emerging economies.
The conference will focus on issues facing Asian markets and will include presentations of original, new research selected by a program committee of top researchers; a panel discussion with representatives from business and government; and a variety of speakers who will address the daily challenges of emerging economies. The goal is a free exchange of ideas leading to insights into the best practices for today's business and government leaders.
