Resellers honored Xerox Corporation’s (NYSE: XRX) Peak Reseller Program at the recent CompTIA Breakaway 2009 event with the Best Partner Program award. The Best of Breakaway awards were chosen by more than 400 technology resellers and solution providers in attendance at the annual event hosted by CompTIA, a leading trade association for the IT industry.
“The strength of Xerox’s channel program shined through at this year’s event,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. “Xerox’s commitment to the channel and continuous innovation was recognized by resellers with the Best Partner Program award.”
Xerox’s award-winning partner program is even stronger with the rollout of PagePack® 3.0, a suite of three managed print service programs that help channel partners manage their customers’ printing infrastructure and reduce costs. Xerox’s program is the first to offer channel partners the ability to manage their customers’ entire fleet of printers and multifunction printers no matter what the brand.
For example, PagePack offers support for Xerox devices while PagePack NX allows partners to manage HP monochrome devices. Certified channel partners can use PagePack FM to manage a customer’s entire fleet. PagePack FM provides detailed reports about a business’s fleet of print equipment and network usage patterns. Additionally, partners have access to third-party supplies and repair and maintenance support for competitive equipment at favorable terms negotiated by Xerox. This information and access allow the channel partner to be the single touch-point and service provider for their customers - helping them lower overall print costs by as much as 30 percent.
“The channel community is ready to adopt a managed print services program like PagePack 3.0, knowing it will make an impact on their bottom line,” said Tom Gall, channel marketing manager, Xerox Corporation. “We are continuously working to supply our partners with the tools they need to create new revenue streams and provide their customers with the best service.”
To offer PagePack FM, partners must complete a comprehensive accreditation and mentoring course covering areas key to a managed print services deployment, such as assessment, design, implementation and management. The Xerox PagePack 3.0 Certification Program will be held in Boston, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago starting Sept. 14.
