Prodevia Learning and Management Technologies Have Jointly Released a New, Instructor Supported Distance Learning Course Titled “Applied Earned Value Management” for the Global Project Management Community; The Course Covers All Earned Value Management Concepts, Formulas, and Includes Spreadsheet Based Exercises to Provide Hands-on Training
Prodevia Learning, in cooperation with Management Technologies, has recently released a new distance learning course on Earned Value Management (EVM) for project managers. The course is based upon Management Technologies’ popular Earned Value Experience™ two day workshop and the landmark book, The Earned Value Management Maturity® Model.
This course provides essential EVM training in a convenient, instructor supported distance learning course as an alternative to attending one of Management Technologies’ public workshops. Project Management Professionals (PMP®) earn 15 PDUs toward professional recertification upon course completion.
“This EVM workshop is one of the most exciting new courses we’ve introduced this year. ‘Applied Earned Value Management’ presents a unique opportunity to gain from Ray Stratton’s extensive knowledge and experience in EVM without travelling to a public training session. The ability of students to set their own learning schedule while learning EVM from a recognized industry expert makes this course a homerun for project managers worldwide,” said Ken Mauldin, President and CEO of Prodevia Learning.
The course includes an introduction to EVM, key terms and concepts, practice in capturing project planning with an EVM baseline, selecting earned value techniques, collecting EVM data during project execution, computing EVM analysis products, and estimating final project outcomes. An EzEVM™ spreadsheet is provided to minimize manual calculations and charting and can be used by students after the course on their own projects. Enrolled students receive a printed course guide, the course material and templates on CD as well as a complementary copy of The Earned Value Management Maturity® Model book by Ray Stratton, PMP, EVP.
