The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) announced today that its January 12, 2010 meeting will feature James A. Reed, lead Portfolio Manager for the Scout Stock Fund, who will share his analysis of economic trends over the past year and forecast directions for the coming year. Mr. Reed will also evaluate whether signals point toward economic recovery or anemic growth and he will discuss unemployment, market volatility, and industry sectors.
Who: | Â | James Reed is the lead portfolio manager for the Scout Stock Fund. Since joining the organization in 1988, he has filled several investment management roles including security analyst, portfolio manager and director of research. Mr. Reed earned his bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and his law degree from Washington & Lee University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. |
