Newly released solution for live event production to be introduced at College Sports Video Summit
XOS Digital, Inc., the leading provider of content management solutions and digital media services for collegiate and professional sports organizations, today announced the release of the latest addition to XOS Digital's live event production solutions — Hurricane HD Replay. The announcement was made today by Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital.
"Hurricane HD Replay, for live event production, is the first product among XOS production solutions and has received high marks from industry users that were given a first look at NAB prior to releasing to the market. This system combines XOS' experience and expertise as an industry leader in live production integration to create a reliable and cost effective production replay solution, and we're excited to introduce Hurricane at CSVS this month," stated Mark Hudgins, GM of the Integrated Solutions Group at XOS.
The Hurricane HD Replay system is developed with the same video technology as XOS Replay, a core product already established in the marketplace. This system relies on up to eight raw production camera feeds and allows production editors to select video highlights for recall and broadcast instantly in slow motion on stadium and arena video boards. Hurricane is a multi-channel, multi-speed system that records continuously regardless of the playback state.
Hurricane was developed specifically for control rooms and mobile production trucks in the sports broadcast market. The user friendly interface was designed to accommodate both novice and experienced production replay technicians making it an easy-to-use intuitive solution. The system includes a custom controller that allows the operator to control all functions from one device.
In addition, Hurricane HD Replay is expandable up to eight channels and provides flexible input and output configurations.
