More than 40 burn survivors from across North America next week will attend the 16th International Burn Camp in the Nation's Capital, an annual event organized by the International Association of Fire Fighters' Charitable Foundation that helps teenagers cope with their life-changing injuries.
Reporters are invited to meet the campers on Wednesday, September 28, from 3-6 p.m., when they gather for an afternoon of recreation with fire fighters at Camp Wabanna, in Edgewater, Maryland, 30 miles east of Washington, D.C. Reporters are also invited to attend the Burn Camp's opening ceremonies, scheduled for Sunday, September 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Arlington [VA] Fire Department, Station 5, 1750 S. Hayes St.
