VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - Northrop Grumman Corp. said Tuesday it received a submarine repair and maintenance contract from the Navy.
The defense contractor's AMSEC LLC unit was one of several businesses chosen for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity pact, which has a total value of up to $15 million.
Work will be performed on Navy submarines visiting or based out of San Diego and is expected to be completed by August 2012.
Shares of Northrop Grumman gained 23 cents to $78.34 in afternoon trading.
