This time of year, everyone is preparing holiday cards to be mailed and exchanged around the world. And as the nature of business becomes more global, more often than not we are expected to offer holiday cheer in many different languages.
But the communication of those greetings might not be quite as simple as it seems. Local greetings are often more than simple translations of American greetings. In fact, literal translations may have unintended negative consequences.

To help, LanguageWerks has designed six different Holiday Cards – which clients can download free of charge – with locally correct holiday greetings in fifteen different languages. These cards were designed in-house, using Indesign software, and clients can easily customize them with their own corporate identity.
