(TSXV:EHT) ("EHT" or the "Company"), a global leader in renewable energy solar and wind technologies, is pleased to announce all management resolutions proposed in the Management Proxy Circular were approved by shareholders at its Annual General and Special Meeting ("AGM") held Monday, January 11, 2022 including the special resolution to change the name of the Company to Net Zero Renewable Energy Ltd. ("Net Zero") and, subject to TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") approval, change the Company's trading symbol on the Exchange to "NZRE".
EHT intends to complete the corporate name and trading symbol change as soon as practicable following the receipt of requisite regulatory approvals.
EHT believes that the new Net Zero name more accurately represents the Company's innovative portfolio, anchored by the acquisition of Windular earlier this year. The rebrand will include a new website, logo and social media among other corporate initiatives by the Company.
At the Annual General & Special Meeting today, shareholders approved the following resolutions:
- The Election of Four Directors including John Gamble, Bruce Bent, David Woolford and Gerald Foster
- Appointment of HS& Partners LLP as Auditors of the Company
- Ratification and Re-approval of the Stock Option Plan
- Authorizing Article Amendment to Change the EHT Name and Stock Symbol
- Adoption of an Advance Notice Policy
- Authorization to Appoint Directors
