Addtech Process Technology, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire 90 % of the shares outstanding in Novatech Analytical Solutions Inc ("Novatech").
Novatech is a leading supplier of analytical instrumentation, engineered systems and services including the measurement of gases and liquids for process, environmental and ambient detection - primarily to Canadian customers within the process- and energy segments. Novatech has 60 employees and a turnover of approximately CAD 34 million and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
Novatech will become part of the Emission Control business unit, where analytical instrumentation has long been a strategic focus area with companies such as Norsk Analyse in Norway and ASAP in the Netherlands. With Novatech, which we have known for a long time, we are both strengthening our expertise and broadening our offering geographically.
Closing will take place today. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Addtech's earnings per share during the current financial year.
