Kilgore College Expands Partnership with CampusWorks for Five-Year IT Managed Services Agreement

KILGORE, TX / ACCESS Newswire / March 18, 2026 / Kilgore College (KC) has announced a five-year partnership with CampusWorks to provide comprehensive IT Managed Services. The move reflects KC's commitment to strengthening its technology environment, supporting institutional innovation, and ensuring long-term operational resilience.

CampusWorks partnered recently with KC on key technology initiatives, including migrating the college's legacy on-premise Jenzabar ERP system to Jenzabar J1, a software-as-a-service platform, and implementing a new constituent relationship management (CRM) system, Element451. Both efforts are part of Kilgore's campuswide Imagine 2.0 technology modernization initiative designed to help the college become more agile and future-ready.

CampusWorks also helped the college reimagine and redesign core business processes so departments across the institution can better leverage modern technologies and operate more efficiently. Through the new managed services partnership, CampusWorks will maintain and enhance the current local IT leadership to help KC maintain a secure, stable, and future-ready technology environment that supports students, faculty, and staff.

"CampusWorks has become a trusted partner to Kilgore College," said Dr. Staci Martin, KC's interim president. "Their team understands our institution, our goals, and the challenges higher education institutions face today. This partnership allows us to build on that foundation and ensure we have the expertise and support needed to sustain our progress."

What sets CampusWorks apart as a managed services provider is the breadth and adaptability of the services it delivers to higher education institutions. Rather than focusing on a single area of technology support, CampusWorks offers a broad portfolio that evolves alongside the changing needs of colleges and universities.

This enables institutions like KC to access specialized expertise across multiple domains-from enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and help desk to data strategy, project management, and IT operations-through a single strategic partner.

This flexibility has been central to the success of the KC-CampusWorks relationship, enabling the partnership to expand over time as new priorities and opportunities emerged.

"Kilgore College exemplifies the kind of collaborative, forward-thinking institution that makes transformational work possible," said Liz Murphy, CEO of CampusWorks. "Because we bring expertise across so many areas of higher education technology and operations, we're able to step in where institutions need us most and help them move forward with confidence."

The five-year partnership strengthens KC's technology foundation and reinforces its commitment to a resilient, future-ready IT environment. With CampusWorks as a strategic partner, the college is positioned to accelerate modernization, strengthen institutional resilience, and ensure technology continues to expand opportunities for students and the communities KC serves across Northeast Texas.
