PHAROL, SGPS S.A.: Change of the Company's Corporate Name

Following the PHAROL General Meeting held on 17 April, at which the amendment to its articles of association was approved - a fact duly disclosed to the market at the time - namely with regard to its corporate purpose, PHAROL ceased to qualify as a holding company (Sociedade Gestora de Participações Sociais - SGPS) and, consequently, is no longer subject to the corresponding legal framework.

Following the approval of this resolution, the necessary steps were promptly taken to secure the registration of the relevant amendments with the Commercial Registry Office, a process which has now been completed.

In this context, we hereby inform that the Company's corporate name has been changed to PHAROL, S.A.

We further inform that the updated version of the Company's Bylaws is available on the corporate website.
