Eckem Holdings Berhad Debuts on ACE Market with Opening Price of RM0.12 per Share

SHAH ALAM, MY / ACCESS Newswire / July 3, 2026 / Eckem Holdings Berhad ("Eckem Holdings", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), a specialty industrial chemical solutions provider in Malaysia, which also undertakes the manufacturing and trading of rubber products, today marked its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities"). The Group's shares opened at RM0.12 per share, representing a stable start to its journey as a publicly listed company.

Eckem Holdings is listed under the stock name "ECKEM" and stock code "0463".

Founded in 2007, the Group has grown into an established specialty industrial chemical solutions provider in Malaysia. The Group is principally involved in the distribution, sales and application formulation of specialty industrial chemical products, offering a comprehensive portfolio of 310 specialty industrial chemical products, including resins, pigments, fillers and additives for various end user applications. In addition, the Group is involved in the manufacturing and trading of rubber products, serving manufacturers and traders in Malaysia and overseas. Its range of manufactured rubber products comprises dental dams, latex sheets, prophylactic (oral) dams, and exercise bands.

Through the initial public offering ("IPO"), Eckem Holdings raised RM15.00 million in gross proceeds from the issuance of 125.00 million new shares. The proceeds will be utilised as follows:

  • RM6.00 million for the construction of new corporate office, warehouse and laboratory to strengthen the Group's operational infrastructure.

  • RM2.00 million for the expansion of new production line for the rubber products segment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

  • RM1.45 million for the repayment of bank borrowings to optimise the Group's capital structure.

  • RM1.75 million for working capital requirements to support the Group's ongoing business operations.

  • RM3.80 million for the defrayment of listing expenses associated with the IPO exercise.

The planned investments are expected to strengthen the Group's operational capabilities, enhance manufacturing efficiency within its rubber products segment and reinforce its ability to support customers with reliable supply and customised specialty industrial chemical solutions.
