("QEV Technologies" or the "Company") provides an update regarding the matter previously disclosed to shareholders in the Shareholders' Meeting presentation published on 4 December 2024 and commented in Shareholders' meeting presentation of 2025.
On 16 July 2026, following a decision by the competent Permanent Chamber of the European Public Prosecutor's Office ("EPPO"), the European Delegated Prosecutors ordered the closure of the investigation relating to grants awarded to QEV Technologies under Spain's Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of the Electric and Connected Vehicle sector ("PERTE VEC").
The decision followed an exhaustive investigation of the facts and the available documentation. Based on the investigative measures undertaken, the EPPO concluded that the investigation had not confirmed the allegations of fraud and that the commission of any criminal offence had not been established.
The findings also confirm that QEV Technologies was in compliance with its tax obligations on the dates legally relevant to the award and payment of the grants.
Accordingly, the EPPO ordered the closure of the proceedings. Subsequently, on 20 July 2026, the competent central judicial authority also ordered the closure of the corresponding judicial proceedings.
