SDMC demonstrated Cedar through an interactive AI Home experience combining Cedar multimodal AI model and Cedar Agent. Built on Google's Gemma open model, Cedar supports multimodal context understanding and reasoning at the edge, while Cedar Agent coordinates actions across devices and services. Gemini complements edge intelligence in the cloud when broader reasoning is needed.
AI Station provides shared edge compute for Cedar and broader AI Home workloads, serving operators, small businesses, and premium households.
