Sdiptech AB (publ) has appointed Anders Petré as Head of the Water & Bioeconomy business area, effective 1 October 2026. Anders brings more than 20 years of experience from the water treatment industry and joins the role from WaterTech, a Sdiptech company, where he previously served as CEO and owner.
Anders has extensive experience within industrial water treatment, with a particular focus on the Nordic markets. As CEO and owner of WaterTech, he led and developed the company for many years before it was acquired by Sdiptech in 2024. He is also Vice Chairman of Matarvattensektionen, the Swedish industry association for boiler and process water treatment.
"We are very pleased to welcome Anders into this role. His extensive industry experience, deep market knowledge and first-hand experience of building and developing a successful specialist company make him very well suited to lead Water & Bioeconomy," says Anders Mattson, President and CEO of Sdiptech.
Erik Lindström has served as Acting Head of Water & Bioeconomy during the transition period and will now return to his previous role as business unit manager.
"I would also like to thank Erik for taking on the responsibility during this period and for ensuring continuity and strong leadership across the business area," Anders Mattson continues.
"I am very much looking forward to taking on this role and working more closely with the companies across Water & Bioeconomy. Having been part of Sdiptech as an entrepreneur and CEO, I have seen the strength of the Group's decentralised model and long-term approach. I look forward to supporting our companies in their continued development and growth," says Anders Petré.
Water & Bioeconomy comprises companies providing specialised technologies and solutions for efficient water management, treatment and the sustainable use of biological resources.
