
PARIS (AFX) - European missile group MBDA said it has won an 18 mln eur order from the government of South Africa for a new Milan system, including Milan 3 missiles, firing posts and training simulators.
The system will be used for the country's infantry and special forces units. South Africa is the first export customer for the new equipment, the company said.
MBDA is owned by EADS (37.5 pct), BAE Systems (37.5 pct) and Finmeccanica (25 pct).
