MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Share prices are expected to open higher, following through on overnight Wall Street gains, and led by banks on merger speculation, brokers said.
Yesterday, the Mibtel index closed up 1.08 pct to 33,978 points and the S&P/Mib was up 1.04 pct to 43,755.
Volume was an estimated 6.243 bln eur.
