The health ministry said on Wednesday it would start H1N1 flu vaccinations from Oct. 27 and had approved Green Cross , the only South Korean maker of the vaccine, to mass produce it.

The government has decided to spend 850 million won ($722,500) to provide communication equipment to North Korea to modernise military communication links between the two Koreas, South Korea's Unification Ministry said on Wednesday.
