LONDON, Oct 25 (Reuters) - The UK's Chief Secretary to the Treasury Liam Byrne told Sky News on Sunday that the British economy will not need the same kind of stimulus it has received during the recession once it returns to growth next year.
The government has pumped billions of pounds into the economy through various fiscal and monetary stimulus plans, but the economy remains in recession, figures showed on Friday.
'As the economy returns to growth next year it is not going to need the same kind of lifeline that it needed this year,' he told Sky News.
