HOUSTON, Dec 1 (Reuters) - U.S. West Coast gasoline slid a
penny on Tuesday as a Los Angeles-area refinery restarted a
hydrocracking complex, traders said. It was the second L.A.
refinery to restart a unit this week.
Los Angeles ethanol-blend, unleaded CARBOB gasoline sold at 0 cents and 0.5 cents per gallon under NYMEX January RBOB.
L.A. January CARBOB sold at a 2.5-cent premium on February NYMEX RBOB.
San Francisco Bay market December CARBOB sold at 3 cents under the Los Angeles market price.
December L.A. CARB diesel was 2.5 cents stronger in a bid-offer spread at 1.5 cents/3 cents over January NYMEX heating oil. In the Bay market, CARB diesel fell to 4 cents under L.A.
Jet fuel in Los Angeles gained half-cent at 3.5 cents/4 cents over December NYMEX heating oil.
In the Portland, Oregon, market, unleaded gasoline was at 4 cents/2 cents under NYMEX RBOB. Diesel was at 5 cents under NYMEX heating oil.
